Bali.
It was 4 am and I’m sitting in my hotel lobby. I was awaken for the past 30 minutes, my vision still kinda blurry and the majority of people who are awake at this time of day are taxi drivers and party people heading back to their hotel I assume. It is Bali anyway.
Then there’s this group of people.
A group of people that awaken this early in the morning for a very special day. The day to witness, to tie, to start a very new beginning for two special human being. Beautiful people.
Peggy greet me in the lobby. She was the wedding organizer that day and she seems like haven’t been to bed for a couple of days. She smiled though. Then there we were, driving through narrow streets of Bali. It was a quiet drive.
It was still dark when we arrive at Villa Sahita Bali. A nice villa facing the ocean. We get in and as usual, photographer will look for the room that is the busiest that morning, the makeup session. That is where all the magic happen. Through many rooms we manage to find the bride’s room and a lady was sitting on a wooden chair facing the mirror with lights around it. She must be the bride I wondering to myself. I clear my throat hoping that there’s no sign of that sleepy tone, and I greet “Good morning Vina”.
An angel looked at me and smiled.
Vina is a calm, warm smiled person. She could easily be everyone’ good friend. I just met her, but it felt like I’ve known her for quite some time. It was the beginning of that day, and I let you witness the rest through the images.
But before that, I want to thank Wilson and Vina for the chance to witness and capture your wedding day. And Wilson, you’re one of the friendliest groom I ever met. You’re humble, easygoing, and very patient personality is something to admire for. Congratulations to you two!
